David Wood takes a unique approach to coaching. Although he is known in the industry for working with entrepreneurs who are earning high six figures and up, his focus is not only to help them increase their bottom line. What makes his company unique is the focus he brings to your entire life, both business relationships and personal ones. David does more than talk; he walks the walk. His own experiences opened him up to a new life direction. Having suffered a loss at a young age, David micro-focused on academics and became a young rising star in business systems at the age of 24. Yet, with that success, he was unhappy. What turned his life around was a personal growth program he joined,  where he learned his true passion was helping others. Today, David works with people all over the globe to help them gain laser-sharp focus on their goals and better their relationships in their lives. Join us today so you can learn the same skills he shares with his clients on today’s One Big Tip podcast.

David’s approach to coaching is that things fall into place when you are settled, focused, and satisfied with your personal life. If you want your business to be awesome, get your personal life there first, the rest will follow. The first step in the process would be to create a list. A simple list of the things that drain you daily. The things you want to focus on and change because they are a springboard for the emotions that flood your system every day. We are all works in progress. The less we weigh ourselves down emotionally and mentally, the more energy we free up to put into other aspects of our lives to create positive energy. That positive energy drives your business forward. It will give you the confidence to go after that big client. All these positives begin with a simple list.

The next step in the paradigm that David uses is setting boundaries. Boundaries are important in every relationship. They create limits and set the tone for how you want to be treated and what you will and won’t put up with. This holds true for every relationship. When someone oversteps their boundaries in a relationship, you feel drained and bogged down by negative energy. The flip side of setting boundaries is knowing that you can walk away from something or someone that isn’t serving you, whether a client, a boss, or a spouse. You need to know yourself well enough and then have the courage to step in the right direction.

That’s where coaching comes into play. There are so many varied coaches that are in the industry. There are coaches for specific purposes, say fitness, who can help you hone in on your physic, and business coaches can help you scale your business to the next level.

David Wood considers himself a generalist coach. He wants to help you have more positive energy to level up every aspect of your life, from relationships with your children and spouse to help you attain your business goals with more clients and sales. Today he shared his tips to help you do the same.
